So, I'm kind of missing not blogging every day (oh, NaBloWriMo, I didn't know what I had until I lost you). With daily posts, I didn't feel as much pressure to make each entry The Most Awesome Words Ever Written in the History of Humanity since, as Scarlet O'Hara so wisely said, tomorrow is another day.
As far as NaNoWriMo, I'm crawling along at a snail's pace. All my writing buddies are doing great though. Especially Jen Daiker, who's already completed her 50,000 word quota (how do you do it, girl?).
I should be writing now, in fact, since the husband and child are gone for the night, but here I am posting. I just can't resist a chance to procrastinate.
I haven't been checking up on blogs (I've got around 1,000 posts waiting to be read in the Google Reader) and I haven't read anything (I've got a stack of books crowding my desk). Oh, and the house is a mess (I finally cleaned the kitchen today).
The one thing I have done so far this week is look for freelance work online. The whole thing is really confusing and there's tons of sites and lists and all that, so it's been a lot of work. I'm crossing my fingers that one of the jobs I've applied for will come through. So, I haven't been completely slacking off.
And, that's about it.
