I just got some feedback from my mentor, C.J. Omololu, and it looks like I have a lot of rewriting ahead of me. I guess I'll be putting off getting back into the querying game for now (too bad I actually have a kick-butt query to send out!). At least she said she liked the concept, so I've got that going for me, right?
On the plus side, C.J. offered to look over my new chapters once I finish them (yay!). She's really helping me a lot and I'm oh-so grateful! I'd rather have an awesome manuscript to send out than a so-so one. I know all these changes are going to make the book even better than I could have imagined.
