Not blogging.
Sigh. Things are crazy busy with the family and going back to work, so I'm way behind on my bi-weekly blogging goal. Don't even get me started on commenting... it's terrible.
So, if I'm not blogging... or writing... what have I been doing?
Cooking.
I signed up for one of those CSA programs (Community-Supported Agriculture). Every week, I pick up a bag filled with a random sampling of locally grown fruits, veggies, meats, and dairy products. Some of the highlights so far were garlic scapes, strawberries, and fresh whole wheat linguine. The good part is, it's got me cooking more and trying new foods... the bad part is, cooking from scratch can take a loooong time.
Watching TV.
My newest TV obsession is Doctor Who. My niece recommended it about a month ago now I'm halfway through the five seasons that are available on Netflix right now. I would say that watching TV is research, but I don't write science fiction. Sigh. I don't know what I'm going to do when Mad Men comes to Netflix in July. I seriously need a TARDIS right now.
Reading.
I'm way behind with my stack of books, but I have caught a few good articles. This one, I know, has been excessively commented on. It also happens to be total crap.
Wasting time.
I got a new iPhone, so of course I'm spending all of my spare moments checking Facebook and playing Words with Friends.
Obsessing.
I've been pretty much thinking about my upcoming trip to Orlando non-stop since May. The schedule for LeakyCon just came out and I've been busy planning which sessions to attend and balancing that between my desire to spend as much time as possible inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I can tell you that I am a little more than excited that I'm going to be attending Lit Day. You can read over the program yourself, but there's going to be so many amazing authors, agents, and editors there. Now if I can just work up the courage to walk up to one of those dream agents and pitch my book (probably best to have book actually done though... right...). Maybe I'll just settle for several lovely book signings.
Things I have not been doing...
Cleaning.
I had to push papers off the keyboard to type this.
Reading emails.
Seriously. I had 400 emails when I logged onto my account today.
Coloring my hair.
The roots are just sad.
What have you been doing lately?
