Homework

     Doesn't it feel good to get something accomplished, and to do a good job at it? This week for school, I had to write a 4 to 6 page research paper on the topic of my choice, and I chose a good topic. :) I chose to write my paper on Walt Disney and the Disney company. Fun right? I would like to make clear at this time that I was writing about classic Disney. So regarding television and movies there was nothing beyond 1995. If Walt Disney came back to life, and then took one look at the Disney Channel, and what his name has come to, he would drop dead again. But that's another argument entirely. My point is that I worked long and hard on my paper, (something I usually don't do.), I did a good job on it, (It went from being the required 4 to 6 pages to 20 pages.), and I feel good about it.
      It just hit me that we should do every thing like that. Colossians 4:18 says: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." We should do every task that is put before us, by first saying "God has given me this job to do." And then work with all we have, and especially with a good attitude, because that's what he would do.
