Your Wednesday Warm Fuzzies

This story about a father's trip with his daughters to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter just about made my day (and also made me at least a billion times more excited to go there in July). The author is a writer for Sports Illustrated (and also grew up in my hometown, so bonus points to him). Here's his description of the story:

A few weeks ago, I wrote a post about our plans to take our daughters -- particularly our nine-year-old Elizabeth -- to Harry Potter World at Universal Studios in Orlando. I worried, I suppose, that nothing surprising and magical would happen. Well, as it turned out, something surprising and magical did happen.

The whole thing is kind of long, but is really well done, funny, and touching. I even teared up a little. If you love Harry Potter, want to go to The Wizarding World, or merely have a functioning human heart, you won't be sorry you read it.

PS - For those of you who have already been, is what he says about the crowds and lines there true? I mean, I don't mind waiting, but it took them 45 minutes to just get into the Harry Potter section of the park? Yikes!
