Joe Perry

Anthony Joseph Periera was born on September 10, 1950, in Lawrence, Massachusetts. He is the lead guitarist, occasional back up vocalist and co songwriter for the band Aerosmith. He lists his inspirational rock musicians as the Beatles and The Rolling Stones, and according to Rolling Stone Magazines 100 Greatest Guitarists, he's #48
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Perry_(musician)

He's of Portugese descent from his father's side and Italian descent from his mother's side. He was married to Elyssa Jeret from 1975-1982. And while married to her, they had a son they named Adrian. His current wife is Billie Paulette Perry. They have 2 sons, Tony and Roman, as well as son Aaron from Billie's previous marriage. Tony and Aaron are the founding members of a band called TAB the Band

The guitar he uses most frequently is a Gibson Les Paul. He has used many types of Gibson Les Pauls over the years since the 1970s. And from time to time, he'll use a Fender Stratocaster, the same kind of guitar that Rolling Stone guitarists Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards use. But for Joe, they had to be strung special for him because he plays left handed.

Steven Tyler

Steven Victor Tallarico was born on March 26, 1948 in Yonkers, New York. He's currently 64, and provides lead vocals, harmonica, piano, percussion, maracas, guitar, mandolin, violin, flute, mellotron, hammered dulcimer and accordion on Aerosmith's music. His most common nickname is the Demon of Screamin'. He is best known for his large lips and on-stage acrobatics. His microphone stand usually has brightly colored and decorated scarves hanging from it, and he also prefers to dress in brightly colored and designed jumpsuits. In 1986, he completed drug rehab and has been clean and sober for over 20 years. Nowadays, you can find him on American Idol, as one of the more sweet, compassionate judges who loves to hear the new talent and remark with something funny

Some cool things about him is he is of Italian, Russian, Polish and German descent. The guys who would go on to form Aerosmith started out by playing gigs at Steven's family home in Lake Sunapee, New Hampshire. And They were able to get a manager named David Krebs. He described Aerosmith as the closest thing to the Rolling Stones, because of Steven's faint resemblance to the Stones' lead singer Mick Jagger.

From 1979-1983, Steven and Joe eanred themselves the nickname the Toxic Twins because of their heavy drug use and during this time, Joe left the band to form the Joe Perry Project.

On Feb. 14, 1984, the band reunited. In 1986, they were famous once again when they did a version of their original song Walk This Way with up and coming rap band Run-DMC. This song also gave them a good hit because the only album Run-DMC had released then was titled Raisin' Hell. Then later on, the band members started going under the impression that Steven Tyler ws a sex addict because of all the little flings he would have with female roadies and groupies.

In 2001, Aerosmith got to play at Super Bowl XXXV as the halftime show. In 2005, Tyler attended Berkley College of Music and received an honorary doctorate from the University of Boston, Massachusetts
